Health Insurance Process
1. Check your Policy
Speak with your provider on whether consultations with a registered dietitian are covered in your policy.
2. Book your Consultations
Get in touch and confirm a consultation time.
3. Request a receipt
After each consultation, ask for a receipt with required details for insurance purposes.
4. Claim from your insurer
File your receipt with your insurer for reimbursement.
- Southern Cross members who have dietitian coverage included in their insurance scheme may claim on consultations.
- Claims may with your insurer must be made retrospectively. You are required to provide full payment for your consultation then make a claim with the full receipt provided.
- Please note that some plans require specialist referral for coverage.
